While others faced financial hardships during this time. All the land in the area was flooded with sand, salt water, and even objects. Some were lucky that their homes were not affected, but still suffered the damage to their yards. With soil testing and proper treatment there is hope for the Brick yards to once again have luscious green grass. The township and surrounding communities rallied together to help one another during this time. This experience helped make Brick Township a stronger community in the end.

Over recent years, brick has focused on the growth and rebuild of the town. They have repaired damaged roads, resurfaced many of the shopping centers, and replaced and repaired parks and recreation areas. Brick Township wants to continue improving the town. Currently, the township is looking into adding another sports complex and revamping shopping centers to help local businesses.
